Requirements
The grants module requires:
- An artist account role
- An active subscription (or trial)
- An uploaded artist CV
Upload your CV
- Go to Grants (
/grants) from the Toolbox. - Upload your CV as PDF or document.
- Provenance extracts structured data (education, exhibitions, awards, residencies).
- Review and confirm the extracted fields.
Your CV powers grant matching and the AI assistant's recommendations.
Finding grants
The grants page shows saved and recommended opportunities. Grants are matched based on:
- Your medium and practice area
- Career stage (emerging, mid-career, established)
- Geographic eligibility
- Deadline proximity
AI grants assistant
Chat with the grants assistant to:
- Discover new funding opportunities
- Get application tips for specific grants
- Draft language for grant statements
The assistant uses your CV context and can persist recommended grants to your list.
Bookmarks
Save grants you're interested in with the bookmark toggle. Bookmarked grants appear in your saved list for easy reference before deadlines.
Tips
- Keep your CV up to date — re-upload when you have new exhibitions or awards.
- Check deadlines regularly; the assistant highlights time-sensitive opportunities.
- Combine grants research with open calls for a full view of opportunities.
